Recently I came across the beautiful portraits of the XVIII century French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard. I love the elements of grace, beauty and liveliness that are present in his portraits of women. There is an air of flirtiness, passion, playfulness and intimacy that surrounds his couples. And the colour palette, light and shadows convey the mood so perfectly.
