After sun-bathing on the beaches of South Maui, we went to explore the west coast where we celebrated my birthday aboard the Maui Princess filled with glasses of Mai Tai, live music, an unplanned appearance of an orca whale, and a beautiful sunset. Ah, yes, sunsets – we enjoyed a few of those here. No wonder Hawaiian royalty has spent a lot of time here back in the day!
