Hana: The Garden of Eden

May 1, 2014 | Wanderlust

Our road trip finished with Hana, which took us by surprise with its rich green lushness, countless waterfalls and divine smell of the passion fruit. The road is extremely windy ensuring that you’re driving slowly and enjoying the views. Most worthy of waterfalls are hidden from the road, but there are a lot of places to stop with accessible trails. You just need to know approximately where they are, so you don’t miss them. After the hot days spent on the South Maui beaches, it’s a pure joy to hide under the dense canopy of trees and plants and go for a swim in the waterfalls.
