THE PHOTOGRAPHER

I am Jenia, the creative soul and owner of TOI ET MOI Photography living in Calgary, AB.

While I was always interested in arts, I’ve graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. After seven years of successfully climbing the corporate ladder, I’ve decided to follow my dream of becoming an entrepreneur in heels in a creative field.

My natural choice fell on photography. I’ve been fascinated by it since I was a kid. As I was growing up, I stood wide-eyed seeing my dad develop film in our condo’s bathroom. With amazement, I’ve looked through my grandma’s albums while listening to family’s stories. And then, of course, there was my first camera and the adventures that followed.

Photography allows me to live in colour by celebrating life, beauty and love around me; to meet amazing people; to capture the moment in time; to create that little piece of history that you can hold in your hands and share with others.
